TC ARMA Chapter Receives Standing Ovation Award!

ARMA International presented the TC ARMA with an award for it’s outstanding approach to furthering the RIM and IG professions.  Specifically, TC ARMA participated in presenting a successful virtual 2021 Spring conference in partnership with 11 other chapters.  Way to go TC ARMA!

Update on TC ARMA Event Fees for 2021-2022

The Board decided that for the 2021-2022 Program Year starting in October all attendees will be able to register for the 1-hour webinar educational sessions for free.  All in-person meetings will have a fee charged to cover expenses. 

This is a great time for members to tell friends or co-workers about our chapter and to get the excitement going in our field.

Gretta Thorson is the Records Management Program expert at Target Headquarters.  Her 30 years of RIM experiences have enabled her to tackle corporate compliance and ethics, retention schedule research and disposition, develop policies and procedures and implement and maintain integrated enterprise records management solutions.

As a result of the current state of affairs in the world, many of the ARMA chapters are now offering free or very low cost training or information events.  Check out other chapter websites for information and opportunities.  We’ll make sure to post the ones that catch our attention.
