Twin Cities ARMA, a chapter of ARMA International, serves Records & Information Management (RIM) professionals in the metro area of Minneapolis & St. Paul, as well as throughout the state of Minnesota. Twin Cities ARMA is committed to providing excellent RIM training, education, and networking opportunities to its members.
ARMA International is the oldest and largest association for the RIM profession, and is the authority of managing records and information. The mission of ARMA International is to educate, advocate, and provide resources that enable professionals to manage information as a critical element of organizational operations and governance. The Twin Cities Chapter of ARMA closely aligns itself with this mission, and strives to provide its members with quality educational opportunities.

2015/2016 Awards were announced at our May 2016 meeting and the winners are as follows:
Chapter Leader of the Year: Recognizes the chapter’s most outstanding leader during the past year. Emphasis is given to the leader’s participation in and contribution to the chapter and region and/or ARMA International activities. The outstanding leader is also a person who has supported and promoted ARMA International objectives.
And the winner is. . . . . Suzy Trauscht, Ricoh and Kaitlyn Williams, Xcel Energy
Chapter Member of the Year: Recognizes the chapter member who has made the greatest individual contribution to the chapter during the past year. Emphasis is given to the member’s participation in and contribution to the chapter activities. The outstanding leader is also a person who has supported and promoted ARMA International objectives.
And the winner is. . . . . Chris Johnson, Minnesota Department of Health
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT: Recognizes the chapter member who has had a positive effect on the Records and Information Management profession over time, not just the last year. This award takes into consideration participation in Chapter activities, leadership positions held at the Chapter, Region or International levels, educational or professional levels obtained, articles published, speeches or presentations given, teaching or mentoring activities completed, special projects or achievements within one’s organization, and their support and promotion of ARMA objectives.
And the winner is. . . . . Sally Anderson, Dakota County
COMPANY OF THE YEAR: Recognizes a company that has best demonstrated involvement and support of their Records and Information Management program and personnel during the past year.
