Twin Cities ARMA, a chapter of ARMA International, serves Records & Information Management (RIM) professionals in the metro area of Minneapolis & St. Paul, as well as throughout the state of Minnesota. Twin Cities ARMA is committed to providing excellent RIM training, education, and networking opportunities to its members.

ARMA International is the oldest and largest association for the RIM profession, and is the authority of managing records and information. The mission of ARMA International is to educate, advocate, and provide resources that enable professionals to manage information as a critical element of organizational operations and governance. The Twin Cities Chapter of ARMA closely aligns itself with this mission, and strives to provide its members with quality educational opportunities.

2016/2017 Chapter Awards are as follows:

Chapter Leader of the Year:  Recognizes the chapter’s most outstanding leader during the past year. Emphasis is given to the leader’s participation in and contribution to the chapter and region and/or ARMA International activities. The outstanding leader is also a person who has supported and promoted ARMA International objectives.

And the winner is Kaitlyn Williams

COMPANY OF THE YEAR:  Recognizes a company that has best demonstrated involvement and support of their Records and Information Management program and personnel during the past year.

And the winner is Cargill

The Records and Information Management Center of Expertise (RIM COE) at Cargill has undertaken a number of initiatives over the last few years.  The initiatives included RIM Uniform Classification Procedures, an Email Consolidation and Retention Project, RIM Health and Safety Best Practices and replacement of their records management software.
